  • No, you should not wash your hair before a head spa. Arriving with unwashed or "day-old" hair (about 24 to 48 hours without washing) is ideal. This allows me to accurately assess your scalp's natural oil and dryness levels to properly customize your treatment. 

    Proper preparation ensures the best possible experience:

    • Skip Styling Products: Avoid using dry shampoo, gels, hairsprays, or heavy serums right before your appointment, as they create a barrier that prevents the spa products from working. 

    • Wear Comfortable Clothing: Because you will be lying back in a bed for an extended period, opt for loose, comfortable clothing. 

    • Remove Jewelry: Take off necklaces and dangle earrings so they don’t interfere with the head and scalp massage.

    The Head Spa is located within Blush Artistry. Parking is available in front of the building. Please go to the side (West) door. Once inside, turn right and go up the stairs. Turn left at the top of the stairs, go down the hall to the quiet and serene Spa waiting area where you can be seated. I will greet you there.
